Jefferson destroyed all pictures and belongings of his wife, no one has any pictures of her.

This is just a tid bit of info on the house he built with some pretty ingenious ideas too numerous to mention. Visiting historical sites allow us to step back into history in a wonderful way that makes us forget momentarily about our immediate existence and egocentric view of the world.
